The Peace Poem, 2016, the collection of poetry begun under #PoetsForPeace, has been published in Praxis Magazine. It’s available as a free downloadable pdf. Each poem is worth reading and savoring. (You can find mine on pages 199-200, if you’re interested. 😉 )
Just read the poem – it captures nicely the anger and frustration. The contrast between screen and couch. The senselessness.

Thanks, Curtis. Eventually, I believe we’ll be frustrated enough to work toward the next Golden Age before we achieve total destruction.

I don’t know about golden, but something has to give some time. Though I do think things might get worse before they get better.

I suspect you’re right. I think the frustration level has’t peaked yet. Humanity seems to have a very high inertial threshold to overcome before anything changes direction. It helps me to recognize that it does always change eventually — for the better or for the worse. It really does seem to me to be cyclical.
