I think you’ll agree that a lot of what we see on WordPress is creative, entertaining, and pretty well-written. Some of it is so heart-rendingly true we cry for the humanity we find there. Some of it is downright frivolous, and that’s exactly why we love it. The stuff that makes us think about things we don’t normally consider teaches us more about each other and ourselves.

But some posts seem to me to have the potential to change the world. Here are 7 of them:

A Teacher’s Reflections: How Children Really Learn

Fix It Mommy: Mediocrity at Its Best

The Girl from Jupiter: Connection! (aka: Unexpected Encounter on Aisle 4)

The Richness of a Simple Life: 2016 Kindness Challenge Posts

    1. You’re welcome, Robert. I’ve taken to explaining my writing tastes this way: I might not be an Ursula K. Le Guin, or even a J.K. Rowling, but I know good writing when I read it. And honestly, good writing is the only kind I’m interested in sharing. 🙂

  1. Oh my gosh Sue! I’m so humbled that you would include the challenge in a post like this. I can’t wait to check out the other 6. By the titles alone I can see why you chose them. Thanks again for thinking of the challenge ❤

    1. You’re welcome, Niki, but I’ve read many of the responses, and it’s clear your Challenge is having a positive effect on the people who are taking part, and that has a positive impact on everyone around them. Better world in the making! 🙂

      1. What a ripple effect! I’m happy to play any part in making the world around me a better place but I’m so happily overwhelmed by the amazing things happening in the lives of those participating. I feel to privileged to be able to witness it.

  2. Reblogged this on A Teacher's Reflections and commented:
In Sue’s words, “Some posts have the potential to change the world. Here are 7 of them.” I am humbled that my post “How Children Really Learn” is among the seven. Thank you Sue. Please check out her blog, as she is a terrific and interesting writer. -Jennie-
