  1. I’d love to come, but I am having difficulty figuring out how to participate. I wonder if it requires me to have a blog? I posted in the six word story challenge and was not able to vote. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    1. Deja vu. I’m sure I answered this yesterday, Marcia, didn’t I? Find WordPress’s sign in page, then activate an account. You don’t have to choose a page to do a blog on. In fact, you never have to do a blog — although I think you could do a very interesting one — but then you’ll be able to get notifications of posts for the blogs you follow. You can already comment, so I’m not sure why you can’t like as well. All you have to do is click like for each 6 word story you like and those are your votes for them. The top 3 win stars!

      1. Thank you, Susan! I signed up with WordPress and now have my very own account! I was able to vote on the stories I liked! Yay! My account is I haven’t posted yet…hope to before I chicken out. 😬

        1. Yay! And welcome! I did that A to Z Blogging Challenge, every day but Sundays in April, and it nearly swallowed my life. I’ve cut back to once or twice a week for original writing, but I also do some of the challenges, like the Kindness Challenge which is once a week for 7 weeks. You can start any time if you’d like to take part. The link to the background and schedule is

You’ve already found TrE, haven’t you? If there’s anything else I can help you with, let me know. If I can’t, I might be able to steer you in the right direction, but basically, you’ll find there are all kinds of people offering tips and advice, so you can soak up the “blogosphere” and figure out what you want to do. It’a another world-wide culture with pretty much any area of interest you can imagine. Have fun! I’m sure we’ll talk soon. 🙂

          1. You’re welcome, Marcia! Just take your time and take a look around. You might want to visit a few meet-and-greets to click on some bloggers’ links and see if they’re people you’d like to follow — even if you’re not ready to write your own yet. Here are a couple that are happening this weekend:

I'd love to hear what you think.
