The First Saturday 7

Everybody’s time is precious. Unless you’ve got gazillions of dollars, no need to work, and a staff of dozens — or one really good Personal Assistant — to manage your time, your life, and your family.

One moment, please, while I imagine that . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . sigh.

Okay, back to reality. Who has time to read all the blogposts that deserve reading? And how much time do you waste spend reading posts you decide aren’t really worth it your cup of tea? Or coffee? Yet you keep exploring because there are so many new writers, and what if one of them is BRILLIANT and speaks right to your heart?

Or maybe you’ve heard some blogger is great, and you just want to see if theirs is as good as yours what all the fuss is about. We’re only human, right?

So I thought I’d put some of the gems I’ve read this week in a short list for you to take a look at. I don’t know if they’ll speak to you as soulfully as they spoke to me, or touch you as deeply, or make you snort coffee through your nose, but I can promise you they are all well-written — some of them exceptionally so.

    1. You’re welcome, Lisa! I loved the lesson you shared about character names. People probably never think about it till it’s a problem. Your take was funny and insightful, and I think your personality really showed. A delight!
